Dear Respectful Donors:
As a CEO and the founder of Ulleri Foundation, I (Khakendra Pun” I’m here to announce a great uplifting news that Laxmi Karki Thapa from Kathmandu, a long-time prodigy who has been involved in social work from the very early days of her life, has gladly joined Ulleri Foundation to dedicate her life to help poor and needy people in remote mountain villages in Nepal. Most importantly, Laxmi has personally donated $5000 to uplift our charity, which we as Ulleri Foundation family are truly grateful! Inspired by her kindness, Ulleri Foundation would like to sincerely like to applaud her from our hearts!
“I do not practice my kindness to show others in the media or to be known; rather, I do it from my inner heart,” smiles Laxmi, genuinely. Laxmi’s true value in life is to serve others with love and compassion. Her desire to help others, wanting nothing in return, has uplifted me as an individual. “My true happiness comes from helping others, those who are in need, despite the obstacles that I face. I’ve always felt that my ultimate destiny is to help those who are in extreme need, which brings me joy.
I grew up near the Pashupatinath Hindu Temples in Kathmandu. As a child, not only did my working parents teach me dignity and respect about life, but my playgrounds were these temples, which I’ve always felt blessed by. Looking back at things, the right path that I’ve chosen to follow on my journey have certainly uplifted my soul, never taking life for granted. And most of all, to be able to get involved full-time as a member of Ulleri Foundation has been my lifelong dream. I can hardly wait to help people.
The reason that I’ve decided to join Ulleri Foundation is due to seeing the life-long compassion of the founder and CEO, Khakendra Pun, who has been helping needy mountain villagers for over three decades by selling copies of his books and documentary film that he has written and produced. And I sincerely applaud all his acts of kindness. Now, we’d like you to be part of our foundation to help these needy people so that we can together uplift humanity. Thank you for your kind support, NAMASTE.”
Sincerely
CEO/Founder Khakendra Pun
